Located next to Kiveton Community Woodland, our Breathe development is perfectly positioned to support and enhance the local wildlife population while making nature accessible to the community.
We've introduced bird and bat boxes, hedgehog holes, grasses, and wildflower meadows throughout the site. We also added planting along the watercourse to attract a wide variety of species and create a sustainable habitat. A community orchard is also planned, which will provide a natural open space for residents and attract even more wildlife.
To ensure our efforts have a lasting impact, we partnered with Meadfleet, our landscape maintenance partner. Together, we created a detailed information leaflet for residents. This leaflet educates them on the local wildlife they can expect to see and provides actionable tips on how to help create a thriving, sustainable home for both themselves and the animals.
